Jaisalmer man denies his photo as farmer in BJP poster
Jaisalmer: A controversy has erupted on a poster released by BJP in poll-bound Rajasthan under its assembly elections campaign ‘Nahi Sahega Rajasthan’ with an elderly man from Jaisalmer claimed to be the one shown in the picture in the poster. The poster is related to farmers’ issue in which the party claimed that the land of more than nineteen thousands farmers has been auctioned, and has been placed as hoarding at several places.
A 70-year-old man from a village in Jaisalmer, Madhuram Jaipal, claimed that it was his photo displayed in the poster and said he has nothing to do with the claim of the BJP made in the poster.
