Governor inaugurates Constitution Park

Sikar: Governor Kalraj Mishra during his one-day visit to Sikar on Saturday attended a programme organized by Vigyan Bharti at Sobhasaria College. He then inaugurated the Constitution Park, Canteen, Main Gate and Law Building at Shekhawati University.

Addressing the programme at Shekhawati University, Vice-Chancellor Bhagirath Bijaranian said that it is a matter of great pride for the University that the foundation stone of the Constitution Park was laid by the Governor. The university administration said that the park was completed in about a year and 11 months’ time at a cost of Rs 3.60 crore.

Mishra said that Shekhawati has a special contribution in the development of the nation. “I want this university to make its mark in the world,” he said.

The Governor said that this building built on the lines of Raj Bhavan is special. “The university has adopted Katrathal and Kotri villages where development works are going on. And now it has adopted Kolida. It is a matter of great pleasure that courses like military science have been started in the university,” he said.
