‘Gehlot doesn’t understand religion & works to divide’

Sirohi: Attacking CM Ashok Gehlot for his allegation that BJP was doing politics of religion, BJP state president Satish Poonia on Wednesday said that Gehlot does not understand religion and it is Congress party which works to divide people.

He said that staging ‘Dharna’ is ‘Dharma’. “It is our good fortune that we are the carriers of Sanatan Dharma, whose concept is Vasudev Katumbakam,” he said during his visit.

Poonia said Congress and CM Gehlot have done work of dividing people by doing the politics of appeasement while the BJP works to connect people.

The BJP leader said that PM has given equal opportunity to everyone and the PM Awas were not constructed in the name of religion.

“In 55 years, Congress pushed the country backward with its vote bank politics and policy of appeasement,” he said.

Poonia said that people have rejected Congress, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and will be eliminated from Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh in next elections.

On the political crisis in Maharashtra, he said that it was the result of dissatisfaction.
