Future of women associated with RCDF secure, says Sushma Arora

Tonk: Administrator and MD of Rajasthan Cooperative Dairy Federation Sushma Arora said on Friday that the future of women associated with cooperative dairies is secure. Many effective steps are being taken for their economic and social upliftment. Arora said this while inaugurating a 2000 liter capacity bulk milk cooler at Sonari in Tonk. “Women are an important link in the cooperative dairy movement. They should join more and more cooperative dairies. Women can contribute significantly in increasing milk collection. Bulk milk coolers will prove to be a milestone in increasing milk collection,” she said. Arora asked the milk producers to rear advanced types of animals and pay attention to their health. Arora also inspected a dairy plant of 50,000 liters per day capacity in Malpura. Along with milk packing, instructions were also given to make other products in the plant being built at a cost of Rs 10 crore.
