Farmers are engine of economy and politics, asserts V-P Dhankhar

Barmer: Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar on Wednesday virtually laid down the foundation stone for the state’s first millet research centre at Gudamalani in Barmer. Dhankhar also addressed a public meeting on the occasion. Union Agricultural Minister Narendra Tomar joined the event virtually, while MoS for Agriculture and Barmer MP Kailash Choudhary, Environment Minister and MLA from Gudamalani, Hemaram Choudhary were present. Dhankhar visited Khed temple in Balotra district.

Dhankhar said that farmers are the biggest contributor to nation’s economy. Farmers are like engines of economy and politics. Millet research centre at Gudamalani will help farmers in increasing production.
