Don’t show mercy, get them punished: Soni

Sri Ganganagar: Director General of AntiCorruption Bureau (ACB) BL Soni on Tuesday said that there should be no mercy on the corrupt and they should be punished. “When it comes to punishment, some people mistake them as bapda (helpless), this should not happen,” he said while addressing a programme organised by The Ganganagar Traders Association under the public awareness campaign of the bureau on Tuesday.

He gave detailed information about the activities of the bureau and sought cooperation to realise the dream of corruption free Rajasthan. ACB Range Bikaner SP Devendra Kumar Bishnoi, Sri Ganganagar outpost in-charge Bhupendra Soni and Vedprakash Lakhotia, Association President Dharamveer Dudeja and Kachha Arhtiya Sangh patron Hanuman Goyal were also present. In his 35 minutes address, Soni said that the government employees get salary, the government also gives resources, even after that some people indulge in corruption and they should be punished. Soni also answered the questions of the people.
