‘Disgruntled’ BTP, Independents raise demands, hope to pressurise govt

Udaipur: Despite persuading & pacifying most of the angry MLAs of Congress camp, three MLAs are still reportedly angry and adamant on their demands. Independent MLA from Behror Baljeet Yadav isn’t ready to go Udaipur. Apart from Baljeet, two BTP MLAs Rajkumar Roat and Ramprasad Dinder have also put forward conditions for extending support.

Apart from the demands related to the tribal area, the BTP MLAs have demanded withdrawal of cases of Kankari Dungri movement. The BTP MLAs have said that support will be considered only after meeting the demands related to tribal interests. Baljeet Yadav has made the strictest demand i.e. to implement 75% reservation for youth of Rajasthan in employment opportunities within the state.

Independent MLA from Sirohi Sanyam Lodha reached Udaipur on Monday. Speaking to First India, Lodha said, “I am still sticking to my point. 1 RS candidate should have been a local from the state. CM Gehlot is a magician, no MLA can be angry with him. No one has given me any offer since BJP leaders can’t talk to me. Congress will win all three seats and in fact, BJP should keep its MLAs safe.”

Meanwhile, Osian MLA Divya Maderna also reached Udaipur on Monday. MLAs Dayaram Parmar, Deepender Singh Shekhawat and Ruparam Meghwal. Shekhawat and Meghwal have not reached Udaipur due to theirhealth conditions.
