Dhariwal pats Kota police; takes on the Centre in a protest

Kota: Congress held a big protest in Kota on Monday regarding inflation and GST imposed on many food items. The anti-inflation protest organized under the leadership of Congress leader Amit Dhariwal started from Rampura, where UDH Minister Shanti Dhariwal discussed inflation and GST. Shanti Dhariwal said that by increasing the tax on food items like rice, flour and pulses, the difficulties of the poor man have increased and tax policies are made to benefit the rich and corporate houses. Meanwhile, Shanti Dhariwal patted the city police and SP Kesar Singh Shekhawat on a strong strategy for crime-control while inaugurating Ranpur Police Station. He took a round of the new premises along with IG Prasanna Khamesra and City SP Kesar Singh Shekhawat.
