Congress government developed the State rapidly in 5 years: CM Gehlot

Bharatpur/Sapotra: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, while addressing a public meeting organized during the Congress Guarantee Dialogue in Deeg on Friday, said that his government did what it said. “In the last five years, we not only announced public welfare schemes in the budget but also implemented them on the ground and provided benefits to the person sitting at the end of the queue. By establishing 20 new districts including Deeg in the state, administrative work has been made easier for the common people. The Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP) is very important for Eastern Rajasthan. This will provide a permanent solution to the irrigation and drinking water problems of the residents of 13 districts,” Gehlot said.

Notably, Gehlot had reached Deeg for nomination meeting of Congress candidate Vishvendra Singh and even offered prayers at Laxman Temple.

Gehlot said, “BJP tried to topple the government but could not. Now ED is being misused. Today Rajasthan has come into discussion all over the country. The government has done good work in the field of education and health. We developed the state rapidly in 5 years.”

Bhanwar Jitendra Singh and Subhash Garg were also present in the nomination meeting.

Congress candidate Ramesh Meena filed his nomination on Friday from Karauli after which a public meeting was held. CM Gehlot reached the nomination meeting of Meena and was elated to witness huge crowd gathered at the venue. Ramesh Meena welcomed the CM. Various senior leaders including Cong Dist Prez Shivraj Meena were present.
