CM reaches Late Kanhaiyalal’s house, pays tributes

Udaipur: Two days fater the henious murder of Tailor Kanhaiya Lal at Udaipur, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot reached the house of the deceased and after paying tribute to him, consoled the family members.

Gehlot paid floral tributes to Kanhaiyalal’s picture and offered condolences to the bereaved family. Gehlot consoled Late Kanhaiya Lal’s sons Yash and Tarun and stressed that the government is with them in this hour of grief. He also spoke to Jashoda, wife of Kanhaiyalal and assured the family members that in this incident the state government will ensure that the victim’s family gets speedy justice and culprits get the harshest punishment. CM Gehlot stressed that state govt was committed to it. On this occasion, on the instructions of the Chief Minister, the Minister of State for Home, Rajendra Yadav presented a cheque of Rs 50 lakh on behalf of the State Government to Jashoda Sahu, widow of Late Kanhaiya Lal.

During this, CS Usha Sharma, DGP ML Lather, ACS (Home) Abhay Kumar & DG Intelligence Umesh Mishra along with public representatives and social workers were present. During this, Gehlot told media that a high level probe is being done after taking both the accused into custody. “The links of accused with terrorist organizations have also been confirmed. Accused will be given arshest punishment. Case has been registered under UAPA, so NIA will conduct the further probe.”
