CM lays foundation stone of 1st Health & Wellness Centre in Rajsamand

Rajsamand/Khamnor: The foundation stone and Bhumi Pujan of the country’s first Health and wellness Centre of Ayurveda medicine, which is going to be built on 52 bighas of land in Bhagal village of Fatehpur gram panchayat in Khamanor block of the district, was done on Sunday by CM Ashok Gehlot. Notably, CM Gehlot and Assembly Speaker Dr CP Joshi reached two hours late than the scheduled time.

CM Gehlot was presented with a turban and Ikalai by the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Dr CP Joshi along with a statue of Maharana Pratap. Interestingly, some demands were also made for area’s development. On this, CM Gehlot smiled and said, “Who can avoid what the Speaker of the Assembly Dr Joshi ji has said.”

After laying foundation stone of Wellness Centre with the help of Gayatri family on the initiative of Speaker Dr Joshi, Gehlot said that the vision of a healthy Rajasthan would come true. CM praised Dr CP Joshi saying, “I have 40 years old friendship with Dr Joshi. Its not possible to not pay heed to what he says. When I became CM for the first time 20 years ago, Dr Joshi was with me and Bageri Naka project was started & hundreds of villages are drinking water. This is Speaker’s visionary thinking.” CM Gehlot announced to allot 4 hectares of land free of cost for Gayatri Shaktipeeth and upgrade 4 upper primary schools. He also announced that Rs 30 crore would be sanctioned from DMFT fund for first phase of Wellness Centre.
