Blackmailed by woman, chemist eats poison; dies

Jodhpur: A chemist allegedly died by suicide by consuming poison after being blackmailed by a woman in Jodhpur’s Basni, police said on Friday. The victim has been identified as Ramesh Prajapat (52).

“The accused, Lila Prajapat, and victim were neighbours and the accused had developed illicit relations after the latter’s husband’s death, the accused had filmed obscene videos and started blackmailing him,” police said.
