ASI suspended for beating school owner

Bikaner: An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Bhawani Dan, posted at Ganga Shahar Police Station, was suspended while two constables were sent to police lines in Bikaner for allegedly beating an owner of a private school. The ASI assaulted a private school owner for not giving TC to a guardian.

The victim was later taken to the police station and then beaten. “The victim’s brother was slapped by the policemen when he reached the police station. The incident was captured on CCTV and later circulated on social media,” sources said. The owners of private schools protested outside Ganga Shahar Police Station, a protest march was held on Wednesday and a memorandum was submitted to Bikaner SP
