Anjana writes to PM, urges to declare Sammed Shikhar as tourist spot

Nimbahera (Chittorgarh): Cooperative Minister Udai Lal Anjana has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the holy pilgrimage of Shri Sammed Shikhar Ji Tirth. The minister has requested that Shri Sammed Shikhar Ji Tirth should not be declared a tourism destination as it is against the sentiments of the Jain community.

On Wednesday, the markets remained closed in Nimbahera and observed a peaceful protest against the order. The protestors said that keeping in mind the religious sentiments of the society, at least think about the land worshipped by the tenacity of 20 Tirthankaras.
