After 9 years, big meeting of Congress will be held in Raj!

Jaipur: The Rajasthan Congress has initiated its preparations for the next assembly elections. Meanwhile, the AICC has decided to organise a Chintan Shivir in Rajasthan which is proposed to be held in Udaipur next month. The motive behind why Gandhi family is doing Chintan Shivir in Rajasthan is clear, since the party wants to give message in North India or rather the Hindi belt, to bring government back in Rajasthan and send election message to neighboring Gujarat state as well.

Elections would be held in Gujarat in the near future which is adjacent to Rajasthan and Congress's national contemplation camp is going to be held in Udaipur next month, which is close to Gujarat. Obviously, through the 'Chintan Shivir', a message is to be conveyed to the home state of PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. Before this, the working committee of the Congress will also meet.

However, there are many political facts behind having a Chintan Shivir in Rajasthan's Mewar. It is being said that Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi sent a message to CM Ashok Gehlot in this regard. Moreover, discussions will also be held on starting a new alliance politics to compete with the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Congress President Sonia Gandhi, former President Rahul Gandhi and all senior party leaders and general secretaries will participate in this camp. Interestingly, political strategist Prashant Kishor may also be present in the Chintan Shivir.

Notably, even 9 years ago Congress's Chintan Shivir was organised in Jaipur. At that time, discussions were held in the camp regarding the preparations and strategy for going to the 2014 Lok Sabha elections and Rahul Gandhi was also appointed the Vice President of the party. Incidentally, even then the Chief Minister of Rajasthan was Ashok Gehlot.
