Guv calls for return to natural farming, youth involvement in agri
Udaipur: Governor Haribhau Bagade said that India is not only a country of sages but also an agricultural nation. He emphasized the crucial importance of agriculture in life, noting that without the agricultural produce of farmers, no one could survive. Discussing Indian agricultural culture, he mentioned that the country produces enough food for 1.46 billion people and has become self-reliant in food production. He urged the university to focus on the welfare of farmers, developing new agricultural technologies.
He spoke about the constant attempts by foreign invaders to destroy Indian culture, but emphasized that Indian culture is resilient and cannot be erased. Referring to several examples from the past, he highlighted tradition of the total guru system in Indian education.
