Jalore: ACB team arrested a ward panch Bhagwanaram of village panchayat Mandwala taking a bribe of Rs 1 lakh in Jalore on Saturday. ACB ASP Mahavir Singh said that the complainant lodged a complaint with the ACB that the accused is constantly harassing him by demanding a bribe of Rs 1 lakh for help in the complaint made against him at the police station and Zila Parishad CEO office. In the supervision of DIG ACB Kailashchand Vishnoi, verification was done on the complaint and the accused was arrested red-handed taking a bribe of Rs 1 lakh. Searches are also being conducted at his residence and other places.
