2 Jain saints die in road mishap; another hurt

Jodhpur: Two Jain saints Charan Tilak Vijay Maharaj and Sant Chaitanya Tilak Maharaj died while another was injured when a speeding truck hit them on the JodhpurPali highway at Mogda village of Kudi Bhagtasni police station area on Saturday morning.

Saint Charan died on the spot, while two others were taken to AIIMS Hosp, where saint Chaitanya died during treatment. A large number of people of Jain society gathered outside the hospital. Jain saint Charan Tilak Vijay Maharaj, Sant Chaitanya Tilak Maharaj and Sant Saraswat Tilak Maharaj were coming from Pali. On Friday night, they stayed in a factory in Mogda, the police said.
