103 hours on, woman yet to be rescued from inside borewell

Gangapur City: The rescue operation of a woman who fell into a borewell on Wednesday in Ramnagar Bairava Dhani of Bamanwas is on. Even after 103 hours, the woman could not be rescued. However, the rescue operation is said to be in the final stage. The operation is on under the direction of District Collector Gaurav Saini, Additional District Collector Hariram Meena.

Saini said that due to leakage of water in the 90-ft-deep tunnel dug by engineering experts and high technology, challenges for NDRF, SDRF & District Rescue team has increased due to increase in water

On Sunday, SDRF experts reached the woman through tunnel. But the rescue operation could not be completed due to water leakage. Prima facie, it appears that the woman is dead but there is no official statement.
