Gehlot wraps up poll talks in Delhi, Raj leaders make beeline for tickets

New Delhi: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot returned to Jaipur late Sunday after camping in New Delhi where he met senior party leaders over ticket distribution and other Assembly election related preps. On Sunday, CM Gehlot met senior Congress leader Mukul Wasnik at the latter’s residence and also Congress Treasurer Ajay Maken at Jodhpur House. Gehlot and Maken had a discussion on various issues for about one and a half hour. Meanwhile, MLAs who came from BSP to Congress also met CM Gehlot in Jodhpur House. MLA Joginder Awana, Sandeep Yadav, Wajib Ali, Lakhan Meena met CM and got assurance from him. “We met the CM and discussed many issues. We have also talked about our tickets,” MLA Sandeep Yadav told media. Awana said, “We are now Cong MLAs, discussions were also held regarding other seats.”
