THE SUPREME SHIVAYU

Tell us someell us something about Shivayu. Our brand Shivay u started in 2018 in a single room with one machine. The name Shivayu is the combination of two names Shivani and Ayush. I believe that together we are siblings and are the power of 11 people. We are twins which is itself a blessing and a wonder as we think alike in everything, whether it is about creativity, designs or any new business idea.

• When did your love affair with design begin? How would you describe the emotion?

Originally the brand was working as an online store and we received many awards and showcased our Indian Ethnic attire in a different fashion shows. Our work was highlighted in Columbo Fashion Week where we were recognized for our unique dress collection and eventually we participated in many fashion shows like Jaipur Couture, Dehradun Fashion Week and others.

We created our offline store to reach more public in the market and to show our collection to other customers too. During the whole journey, my Biggest support is my sister and my parents without them I could not achieve anything this big.

• What do you truly enjoy working with?

We create light lehengas, bridesmaids’ dresses etc. Our eloquent collection embodies the freshness and vibrancy of modern times combined with the elegance and grandeur of the traditional styles.

• While the list of celebs who have won your creations is endless, who do you feel carries off your clothes the best?

Till now big names like Chunkey Pandey, Bhumika Chawla, Himanshi Khurana, and almost 50 celebrities have presented Shivayu in fashion shows as Show Stoppers. It’s difficult to choose one because they all are really good.
