Give some insights about your journey as an actor?
I started my journey in the Gujarati industry with Love Ni Bhavai, produced by Subhai Ghai. Before becoming an actor I have worked as an Art Director. After working as an AD in some Gujrati films I tried my hands at make-up. Afgetting hooks and crooks of this industry, I came to Mumbai after my graduation and started assisting Sunil Shetty in FTC for 6 months and got my first break with Kareena Kapoor Khan as an actor in an advertisement for Ishq FM. I have also worked in film Raees, where I was portrayed as muslim girl among side King Khan.

What are your options regarding the current TV industry?
As I am from a typical Marwari family it took me two years to convince my parents of my dreams. Still, there were some restrictions like I was forbidden to work for bold content. I am very careful before choosing roles. So, I don’t think I would land up in such a situation. We always discuss scripts with each and together take a decision. Perfect Pati was my break on TV then by God’s grace ‘Chhoti Sardarni’ fell into my lap and this serial is very close to my heart.

What has been the best performance of your career so far?
Indeed a good question, lol! From all the work I have done so far, Chhoti Sardani on Colors TV is my favourite. This show has taught me a lot, it is the source behind my growth professionally and personally.

What is your biggest goal as an actor?
I don’t intend to be a performing flea any more. I was a dream weaver but although I do not need to prove myself to others, to prove myself to myself. I am very grateful for the opportunities I got but there’s a long way to go. I want to become the greatest formers ever!

Describe your creative process.
I have to go through the character, study them by heart and try to build their personalities in me. To develop intense character I also watch YouTube videos.
