A glance at beauty and royalty was witnessed in the fashion festival of Raj a s t h a n ‘Udaipur Couture Show 2022’ presented by First India and Bharat 24. The grand Utsav of fashion was held at Ramee Royal Resort in the beautiful lake city of Rajasthan on Monday. Designers from different corners of the country showcased their collections during the fashion event. The show was e m b e l l i s h e d with nine fashion sequences in which designers from Udaipur as well as Jaipur, Surat, Rajkot, Mumbai and Delhi presented their g a r m e n t s on the exhib i t i o n stage. The g r a n d opening of the show was done by heavy bridal Mewari outfits by fashion designer ‘Yuvti by Bhupendra Singh’, where Zee Show fame actress Akansha Bhalla walked the ramp as the showstopper. Royal fashion has undergone transitions with cultural influences affecting the styling and silhouette. Traditional styles of lehengas are three-piece outfits comprising of a long skirt, blouse, and dupatta.

With the changing global trends, plenty of different silhouettes are now available in lehengas. Coordinated sets are the latest trend in women’s ethnic wear with traditional lehenga-blouse taking the form of modern 2 attire; a long skirt and a crop top.
