ELIMINATE THE WORD IMPOSSIBLE!

Give some insights about your journey as an actor?
It was really tough initially, when there was no one who trusted me that I can act, but as I kept giving audition and auditions, I gave auditions for three years along with it I was doing theatre, eventually folks from industry started noticing me and my craft, and then I got my first big tv show which is Amma ke babau ki baby, along with it I did few cameos in crime petrol and happu ki ultan paltan, after this I never looked back, then I did Rang jau tere rang mein and I left that show for my current ongoing show which is Aashiqana, streaming on Disney hotstar.

What are your options regarding the current TV industry and what are your views on favouritism?
My options are that I can do negative and positive both, 2 months back I did negative cameo in a show called Lovepanti but then I though I want to explore more of the comedy elements in me. My current show is Aashiqana on hotstar and I am playing the character of Raj who is a modern day guy with a great sense of humour. The character is positive, smart, funny, intelligent.

What has been the best performance of your career so far?
I think this question should be answered by my audience, as far as I am concerned I give my best in every character I play. I am enjoying the character which I am doing right now, which is of Raj

What is your biggest goal as an actor?
The goal is to experience various human lives by playing different characters. And in doing so if I can contribute to the society by any means.

Describe your creative process.
It’s very simple I read books and observe people around me, and when it comes to preparing a character, everyone has their own processes and I have my own too. It’s a personal thing I think, which cannot be shared and understood.

What would you do differently if you were to start over again from day one?
I will be more patient, w o u l d w o r r y less and work more smartly. I don’t want to change things any more different because I think whatever happens, happens for a reason. And for me things have happened just in time. I consider myself very fortunate and lucky. You get things when you are ready for them.
