DESIGNED TO EMPOWER!

International Women’s Day is the moment and occasion to celebrate women. Women love to dress well and exhibit their style through clothes. To show and extend their support, Satyam Fashion Institute’s graduating students designed their collection inspired by various facets of life and the roles that women play.

TRIPTYCH 2022 was a spectacular evening of 15 shows by the amazing students of Satyam Fashion Institute to commemorate International Women's Day and dedicate the real essence of womanhood (SFI). The students presented their work with 15 various themes, all of which were inspired by nature and the environment. Natural textiles such as cotton, linen, and silk were used to create the collection, making the fashion business more sustainable.

The show was choreographed by Rachna Sikka. The glamorous event provided a platform to showcase the ravishing attire designed by the Graduating Batch from scratch under the supervision of Show Organisers Dr Vandana Jaglan, Principal, and Dr Neetu Malhotra, HOD SFI.

The people were captivated by 15 different themes showcased at the fashion show were: Orn Rocaille (inspired by Rococo as a line of flowing fabric in a lovely blend of glamorous beige and fuchsia pink), Wear the Change (Art Nouveau-inspired theme that uses cotton and chiffon materials for Peri and Pearl Violet outfits), Bang on Street (pop art-inspired theme for street style fashionistas developed using blue and white denim, matty, and net textiles), Serenity to Dignity (collection inspired by Rossini in shades of peach and purple), Shibori (dedicated to marine life, it is designed in shades of blue and grey), Go Vegan (another theme to protect and save the environment, created using natural fabrics like cotton, satin and georgette in animal prints), Scars of Beauty (inspired by Kintsugi a Japanese art to embrace and heal to celebrate life), Bitten by Art (collection depicting art in fashion), Humanity to nature (ready to wear fashion inspired by shades of flowers), Flora es casa was (inspired by Jade vine flower in soothing shades of blue and white), The Never-Ending Fantasy (celebration of colours in neon designed with cooling Glazed cotton fabric), Space (futuristic collection made of pure leather, cambric and linen), Warli's Art (inspired by the ancient life of humans depicted in light shades), Sunayana – the silent pillar of strength (dedicated to the women who are always the pillar of strength in every house), Voir a nouveau draws it's (inspired by the ancient European culture is designed for women who make a difference with their sense of style).
