COLOURS OF EARTH

The three-day Ceramic Art Show named ‘Colours of Earth’ commenced on November 4 at Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur. Jagdeesh Chandra graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and while inaugurating the wonderful exhibition, congratulated the organisers and appreciated the art work.

The show has been curated by the finest ceramic artists from across India, who are deeply passionate about this material and allow ceramic to be appreciated as an art form in its own right. With the vision of facilitating a new generation of art collectors and patrons by curating a diverse style of ceramic work under one platform.

The illustrious group of 10 artists with accolades including National Award winner as well as the winner of AIFACS, the renowned ceramic artist with installation at prominent public places in Delhi, internationally trained artists from prestigious institutes, artists with a Masters degree in ceramic design, artists with well established successful studios and artists with the experience of over 20 art shows etc from all across India have joined forces to produce an exhibition with the goal of inspiring a new generation of art collectors and patrons by bringing a variety of ceramic work styles together on one platform that enables ceramic to be recognised as an art form in and of itself.
