Women docs march against Right to Health Bill in Jaipur

Jaipur: Although the Right to Health Bill has been passed in the Legislative Assembly, private doctors are still protesting. In Jaipur, women doctors took out a rally against the Bill on Friday. It started from JMA Auditorium and culminated at the Trimurti Circle via JLN Marg. The doctors shouted slogans against the government and the bill. All the protesting women doctors said that the doctors will continue their agitation until it is withdrawn. During the rally, the women doctors blocked the road twice — once outside JK Lon Hosp & then on Trimurti Circle leading to Narayan Singh Circle.

Resident doctors continue to boycott work in all the medical colleges, including Jaipur, Jodhpur & its affiliated hosps.
Meanwhile, a new coordination committee has been formed for protest against RTH with consensus in the GBM of doctors on Friday. Dr Ashok Sharda was made Coordinator and Spox of the committee.
