Will try to give my best to Raj judiciary: Chief Justice Mithal

Jaipur: Newly elected Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court Pankaj Mithal on Saturday said that from the experience of Allahabad and Jammu and Kashmir, he will try to give his best to the judiciary in Rajasthan.

Mithal was addressing the central executive meeting of the All India Association of Retired Judges of the Supreme Court and High Courts of India held today in Jaipur.

The meeting was chaired by Justice K L Sharma at hotel Jaipur Ashoka in Banipark in which judges from many states including UP, Delhi, MP and Kerala took part.

“I have come here with the intention of doing something. I am very proud to come to Rajasthan. Rajasthan itself boasts of vast culture and history of heroes,” he said.

He said that coming to Rajasthan, which is also the place of Shrinathji, is a matter of pride for him and he considers it a blessing of God.
He was accompanied by his wife.
