‘Whistleblower hushed’, claims BJP; suggests ED-ACB to probe 19.5 acre land matter!

Jaipur: In the JDA Director (Law) Dinesh Gupta transfer case, the Rajasthan High Court suddenly transferred Dinesh Gupta on Friday to the post of DJ Bundi. Till now, Gupta was on the important post of JDA Director (Law).

According to BJP sources, Gupta was constantly raising cases of alleged irregularities and corruption in JDA. One of these cases is related to 19.5 acres of land divided into two pieces between Tonk Road and JLN Marg. Judge Dinesh Gupta himself wrote a letter to the Gehlot government two months ago and raised the issue of land conversion of this 19.5 acres of land.

Now, with this development, there is reaction in BJP to Gupta being removed from JDA and sent to Bundi. Moreover, a BJP leader has accused the Gehlot government saying, “Honest officers trying to stop corruption are now being transferred. That’s why the entire episode of this 19.5 acres of land should be investigated by ACB-ED.”
