‘We saved every penny, invested for people’s welfare’

Jaipur: Union Minister Anurag Thakur talked about the achievements of the Central government in the last 10 years during a Viksit Bharat Ambassador meet programme held at Rajasthan International Centre on Sunday and interacted with hundreds of youths.

Thakur said that in 2014 they had promised to run the government with honesty and after 10 years we have saved every penny of the country and have invested it for the welfare of the people. He said, “There was a time when the country’s money was stolen through defence deals but today the country is strengthened in the defence sector. Earlier, the players were cheated but today they are groomed to win medals. Today, the third largest startup of the world has been set up. The Narendra Modi government has increased the country’s treasury.”

Industries Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore said “The PM is thinking about Rajasthan. In two months, people will benefit from such decisions. There is no dearth of resources in Rajasthan but no govt cared about it. Now, the double engine govt will help in State’s development,” he said. “People are leaving Congress & joining BJP. Some are returning their tickets. The rest are playing videos of BJP.”
