WARBIRDS ROAR AT IAF’S VAYU SHAKTI EXERCISE

• Rafale, Sukhoi, Miraj, Jaguar, Tejas, MiG-29, and MiG-21 Bison took part
• IAF’s mega exercise scheduled for March 7 postponed

Jodhpur/Jaisalmer: The Air Force’s biggest exercise scheduled to be held on March 7 has been postponed for the time being.

Several dignitaries, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi were to participate in the programme. Meanwhile, the IAF conducted its biggest firepower demo demonstration, operation Vayu Shakti 2022 at the Chandan firing range here on Friday.

Rafale aircraft took part in this exercise, the officers demonstrated their courage by hitting imaginary targets. 148 Indian Air Force aircraft, including Rafale, Sukhoi, Miraj, Jaguar, Tejas, MiG-29 and MiG21 Bison participated.

Fuel filling was demonstrated from one aircraft to another in the air, in which Mirage and Jaguar aircraft performed well. Hercules C/30 aircraft landed and took off from the road.
