WALL OF UNDER-CONSTRUCTION HOUSE COLLAPSES, BOY KILLED

Jaipur: A six-year-old child was killed while one other child sustained injuries after the wall of an under-construction house collapsed in New Sanjay Nagar (Bajrang Nagar) of Bhatta Basti area at around 6:15 pm on Saturday. Police informed the deceased has been identified as Faizan while the injured has been identified as Shampoo (6).

“The kids were playing near the under-construction building when the incident took place. Within five minutes after the accident, Shampoo was dug out of the debris, while Faizan was pulled out after 10 minutes. Both of them were rushed to Kawantiya Hospital where Faizal was declared dead by doctors. Shampoo is presently undergoing treatment in the hospital,” said Deputy Controller (Civil Defence) Amit Sharma.

Bhatta Basti SHO Hukum Singh informed that during the preliminary investigation, it has revealed that Sheru Khan’s house was under construction and due to that, cracks were formed on the wall of the neighbouring house. “The neighbour, Sajid, had even informed Sheru about the walls being cracked due to construction. However, despite this, Sheru did not repair the wall. A case of death due to negligence will be registered against Sheru Khan,” said Hukum Singh.
