Vaibhav Gehlot era in RCA might continue

Jaipur: The tenure of the current executive committee of Rajasthan Cricket Association, headed by Vaibhav Gehlot, is going to end on October 4. Now the election campaign has intensified for the new executive. as per schedule the RCA elections will be held at the end of this month on September 30. Looking at the current equation, Vaibhav Gehlot is set to repeat as the president, but who there is suspense over the rest of the office bearers.

In the RCA, made up of 33 district associations, the math of votes is such that Vaibhav Gehlot will not have any problem in becoming the president again nor in choosing the team according to him. Earlier, Modi faction was in front as Opposition, but now there is no such thing. The adhoc committee has been formed in Jaipur and Jodhpur, which is only a supporter of Vaibhav Gehlot. BJP leader Amin Pathan is currently on the post of vice-president, but according to the Lodha committee, he will not be able to contest elections now.
