TRIANGULAR FIGHT FOR PREZ POST AS FILING OF NOMINATIONS BEGINS
Jaipur: As the process of election of Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) started, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s son Vaibhav Gehlot reached the SMS Stadium with his daughter on Tuesday and once again filed nomination for the post of the association’s president. A total of 17 nominations were filed for six posts. Mukesh Shah for the post of President, Mukesh Shah for Vice-President, Vinod Saran for Treasurer, Arun Singh for Executive Member, Shatrughan Tiwari for Joint Secretary and RS Nandu for Secretary have been nominated from Rajendra Singh Nandu group. Interestingly, Giriraj Sanadhya has also filed for the post of president. Talking to reporters after filing nomination, Sanadhya listed his achievements in the last three years and said, “International cricket matches are being organised in Rajasthan again. Soon, the state will get two new stadiums and better facilities will be available to the players here. I hope that all the district associations will cooperate with us in giving a push to state cricket.”
