Transfers of officials done as per ECI guidelines: CEO

Jaipur: Chief Electoral Officer Praveen Gupta, in an interview with First India, said that ECI (Election Commission of India) guidelines were issued regarding the transfers of officials who have been working at the same location for three years. He said that directives were also given for transfers of officials stationed in their home districts. The list based on these guidelines was released on Thursday.

Gupta said that transfer postings of administrative officials have been carried out based on the criteria and now everyone is tasked with training at the warfare level.

More than 12 lakh voters, who will turn 18 by October 1, will be able to vote.
