Those with anti-poor mindset troubled with scheme: Gehlot

Jaipur: Days after Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat tweeted a video showing pigs licking utensils outside an Indira Rasoi, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Saturday said that some people with poor mentality are campaigning against the state government’s Indira Rasoi Yojana.

Along with this, he reiterated that public representatives should have food in Indira Rasoi at least once a month.
Gehlot tweeted, ‘Indira Rasoi provides quality and fresh food for Rs 8. So far, 7.75 crore beneficiaries have been served food in 900 Indira Rasois of the State. Action has also been taken on receiving any complaint.”

Without naming anyone, Gehlot said that some people with antipoor mindset are having trouble with the success of Indira Rasoi and running campaign against the scheme.

“I would again like to appeal to all the public representatives that, at least once in a month, have food in Indira Rasoi so that the quality is improved,” he said.

On Wednesday, Shekhawat tweeted a video in which two pigs are seen licking utensils outside Indira Rasoi in Bharatpur which was closed.
