SUB DIVISIONAL ENGINEER OF BSNL HELD WITH RS 1 LAKH BRIBE

Jaipur: The ACB Jaipur City-III unit on Wednesday arrested Manish Chandna, Sub Divisional Engineer posted at the office of the Principal General Manager BSNL, MI Road while taking a bribe of Rs 1 lakh from the complainant. ACB ADG (Addl. Charge of DG) Hemant Priyadarshy said that a complaint was received at the Jaipur City-III office that that the accused was seeking Rs 1.27 lakh as bribe from the complainant in lieu of clearing pending payment and filling of measurement-book of works done. The complaint was verified under supervision of DIG Kaluram Rawat and ASP Himanshu and the trap was laid by a team led by DSP Suresh K Swami. The accused Chandna resident of Jhotwara was caught red handed while taking a bribe of Rs 1 lakh.
