Sr adv Prasad becomes 19th Advocate General

Jaipur: Senior advocate Rajendra Prasad has become the 19th Advocate General of the state after Governor Kalraj Mishra gave his approval. First India had said this on December 1, 2023. Prasad took charge in the High Court and said that he would work in the interest of the people.

The post fell vacant on December 4 after the formation of new govt. Former Advocate General MS Singhvi had tendered his resignation on Dec 4. Prasad has expertise constitutional, election, civil corporate and revenue and in public interest litigation. He had achieved success in 2023 in Dr Somya vs State case.
