‘Shekhawat main character in attempt to topple Raj govt’

Jodhpur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot reached Jodhpur on Tuesday along with his wife Sunita Gehlot and PCC President Govind Singh Dotasra. On reaching Jodhpur airport, Gehlot was received at the airport by Congress leaders. Tuesday being the 92nd birthday of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s sister Vimla Devi, Gehlot flew to Jodhpur to wish her as well as take her blessings.

While talking to the media at the airport, the CM responded to a remark made by Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and also attacked the Centre on the issue related to the Agnipath scheme & interrogation of Rahul Gandhi by ED. During this, PCC President GS Dotasra also attacked the Centre. CM Gehlot said that the entire country is on fire due to the Agnipath scheme. “But the government has announced to go ahead with this scheme, its govt’s arrogance. Now is the time, PM Modi should not face a situation like a farmer’s movement. Retired officers should be talked to, dialogue is of great importance in a democracy through which many problems are resolved. After that, the decision should be taken. they announced that they will not withdraw from the scheme. This is not bravery, but the arrogance of the Centre. Provoking people, saying that those who participated in events won’t be included, is an act of instigating violence. We appeal to the youth to protest peacefully.
