‘Send pending proposal of ideal villages’

Jaipur: CS Usha Sharma has instructed officials to send the pending proposal at the district level to declare the village scoring 70 or more as ideal villages. During a meeting regarding in Secretariat, she directed officials to update progress of works done in dist under scheme from time to time on the portal. Sharma has also asked officials to complete development works by issuing approvals for identified works related to infrastructure. She also said that all eligible people should get benefit of schemes. She directed officials to complete development plans of pending villages selected under scheme at the earliest. “Villages where interim development plans have been made, instructions have been given to carry forward process after completing survey,” she said. In 2nd phase, villages with a population of 500 or more were selected. Selected villages are those in which SC population resides. 1241 villages have been selected from 32 dists except for Dungarpur. There is a provision of Rs 21L for every village.
