RPS to IPS promotion: UPSC Board meet held

Jaipur: After the board meeting held in UPSC in Delhi on Thursday, recommendation for selection through promotion of RPS to IPS on 9 vacant posts were made. Now, soon after the minutes of meeting are approved, the notification of 8 IPS to become IPS will be issued.

After recommendation, these contenders will be become IPS: Krishnachand Yadav, Laxman Das, RK Yadav, HP Meena, RK Kanwat, NS Meena & RK Meena. Of these, the envelope will be closed once again for Satyapal Middha. At the same time, in the case of RPS Ramesh Maurya, his name was also included after the matter around him was solved.

Notably, a total of 27 names were sent to UPSC against total 9 vacant posts. The meeting was attended by CS Usha Sharma, Principal Secretary Anand Kumar and DGP Umesh Mishra.
