Royals to take on defending Titans for first spot

Jaipur: Gujarat Titans will be eager to put their lacklustre batting performance behind them when they take on Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League on Friday. Rajasthan Royals will be challenging the Hardik Pandya-led team for the first spot at Jaipur's Sawai Mansingh Stadium.

The team led by Sanju Samson has a lot of potential, but in their most recent game against the Mumbai Indians, their renowned bowling unit was unable to defend the target of 212.

Both teams are coming off losses and would want to turn things around.
Royals defeated GT earlier in the season might provide some consolation for them.

The batting lineup for Rajasthan has the capacity to score lots of runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal is enjoying a fine run but the team needs the trio of Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson, and Shimron Hetmyer back on track.

On the other hand, the Titans must move over their disappointing batting performance against the Capitals, where they failed to chase down the 130-run target.
However, the bowling against the Capitals was outstanding.
