RHB to construct two roads at City Park to manage traffic snarls

Jaipur: The Rajasthan Housing Board will construct two roads (parallel to Madhyam Marg) connecting VT Road and Aravalli Road to manage the traffic coming from Madhyam Marg in City Park.

RHB Commissioner Pawan Arora while reviewing the City Park and Fountain Square Project at RHB Headquarters on Monday, said that the City Park located at Mansarovar, has become a land mark of Jaipur. Thousands of people with their families visit the City Park every day. “To control the rush from Madhyam Marg, a 40- feet & an 80- feet wide road will be constructed. It is worth noting that Madhyammarg is 80 feet,”

Arora said, adding that officers have been directed to issue tenders for both roads at the earliest. “Ticket system with minimum fee will also be introduced in Park soon to prevent noise & ensure beautification. Apart from this, attractive facilities including children’s gym will also be set up.”

Issues like administrative & financial approval, tenders, electric maintenance were discussed during the meet.
