RCDF collects record 50L litres of milk in one day

Jaipur: Rajasthan Cooperative Dairy Federation (RCDF) has created history in the State with the record milk collection of more than 50 lakh litres for Saras. This is the highest milk collection in a day in the history of 45 years of the Dairy Federation.

RCDF Administrator and Managing Director Sushma Arora stated that on Jan 10, 52.51 lakh litres of milk were collected in 24 district milk unions. It has almost half of Jaipur Dairy. A month back, on December 15, 43.3 lakh litres of milk was collected. This is the first time since the establishment of the federation in the year 1977 when this apex cooperative dairy of the state has crossed the figure of 50 lakh litres.

Arora further said that the continuous increase in milk collection in cooperative dairies is made possible due to the CM Dudh Uthpadak Sambal Yojana.
