Rawat performs Rudrabhishek

Jaipur: Devasthan Minister Shakuntala Rawat on Monday offered prayers at Shri Pratapeshwar Mahadev’s temple in Jaipur on the occasion of first Monday of Shravan month. She prayed for peace and prosperity of the state during her visit. Minister Shakuntala Rawat informed that the Devasthan Department will perform Rudrabhishek (Special prayers) on every Monday of the Shrawan month.

“Rudrabhishek will be performed on July 25, August 1 and 8 in 44 Shiv temples of the state. Prayers were offered at Sri Pratapeshwar Mahadev and Jharkhand Mahadev Temple in Jaipur and at Rameshwar Mahadev Temple in Amer,” Rawat said. “In the past, Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, Ramayana recitation in Ram temples on Ramnavmi, Sundarkand in temples of Devasthan department on the occasion of Hanuman Janmotsav has been performed by the department,” added Shakuntala Rawat.
