Rajputs demand EWS reservation to 14 percent

Jaipur: Kesariya Mahapanchayat organized by Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena was held today at Vidhyadhar Nagar Stadium in Jaipur. Brij Bhushan Singh, MLA from Kesarganj in UP, Raghuraj Pratap Singh, Minister for Labour and Service Planning in UP Pankaj Singh, Director of Nims University, Siyaram Das Maharaj, Gopal Das Maharaj of Galta Gate, Mahant Ramraj Das and Sawal of Panchmukhi Hanuman ji reached for the mahapanchayat. Flowers were showered by helicopter.

Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, president of Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena, said that the Mahapanchayat was not a platform for politics and has been called for some issues. “Our main demand is that EWS reservation should be increased from 10 to 14 percent. Economically backward upper castes should get a place at the Centre,” he said. He demanded for the Kshatriya Jan Kalyan Board.
