Rajasthan Tourism participates in the India International Travel Mart @ Hyderabad

The two-day India International Travel Mart was inaugurated today by Shri Srinivas Gupta, Chairman, Telangana Tourism Development Corporation. Being held at the Hitex Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, the Department of Tourism Rajasthan has set up a beautiful pavilion and will also be participating in roadshows. 

Talking about the event, the Director of Tourism, Dr Rashmi Sharma said, “Rajasthan Tourism is looking to aggressively promote domestic tourism, and will focus on the exchange of culture between both the states. An exhibition is being organised to highlight art, culture, fairs, festivals and adventure and wildlife experiences, among others. Traditional Rajasthani folk performances will be the main attraction at the Rajasthan Tourism pavilion.”

She went on to add that IITM is an important platform for Rajasthan Tourism because it brings travel, tourism, hospitality, leisure and other related industry stakeholders under one roof. The Department of Tourism, Rajasthan always prefers participating in this event as it brings the industry face-to-face with key constituents of the travel trade industry. The department is looking forward to engaging with travel agents, tour operators, hotels and resorts, and online travel portals at this travel mart.

Rich in culture, heritage, wildlife and unexplored places, Rajasthan is at the IITM to highlight the multitude of experiences that the state has to offer. This event is of immense importance to the tourism industry and is expected to give a fillip to the upcoming festivals in Rajasthan.
