Jaipur: The sporting fraternity of Rajasthan has extended their support to wrestlers, who are staging a protest in Delhi against Wrestlers Federation of India (WFI) Chief Brij Bhushan Singh over allegations of sexual harassment.

In Jaipur, a protest was held at Statue Circle and Shaheed Samarak wherein Rajasthan State Sports Council President and former Olympian Dr Krishna Poonia, Rajasthan Wushu Association President Hira Nand Kataria and other athletes raised slogans against WFI Brij Bhushan Singh and demanded action against him. Dr Krishna Poonia and Hira Nand Kataria said that serious allegations have been levied against Brij Bhushan Singh.

“In such a situation the Union Sports Ministry should take immediate action against Brij Bhushan. If sports officials will harass women players, then where will the players go? Brij Bhushan Singh should be immediately dismissed from his post,” said the protestors.
