Raj youth in net of human trafficking, spread over Thailand to Malaysia

Jaipur: A case of a poor youth from Ramsar of Churu district being taken to Thailand by human trafficking gang on the pretext of employment abroad and from there being illegally taken hostage in a ship has come to light. Sunil Kumar Sharma, a resident of Ramsar in Churu district, requested Charmesh Sharma, the Congress leader of Bundi, who works for the assistance of distressed Indians abroad, to take him to his family in India. Sharma was shocked to hear the ordeal of the youth. Jugalkishore Sharma, the elderly father of the youth, is also worried about his son’s safety after being trapped in Malaysia.

Sunil shared his ordeal via social media from Malaysia that an agent Iqbal Khan in Churu had promised him to get employment with a valid work visa in Malaysia for Rs 1.05 lakh. In order to feed his poor family, Sunil fell into the trap of the agent. The agent, however, took Rs 1.35 lakh from him by pressuring him. He was taken to Thailand and from there shifted to Malaysia in a ship without a visa. His life is in danger due to illegal arrival in Malaysia.
