Jaipur: Senior IAS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre Shiv Das Meena, a native of Rajasthan, has been appointed as next CS of Tamil Nadu. The Stalin govt has handed over the command of the bureaucracy to Meena, a 1989 batch IAS officer, who hails from Begumpura village in Tonk district. Meena is an engineering graduate from MNIT, Jaipur. Meena will continue as Chief Secretary till his retirement in October 2024.
